Millions and millions of hearts (including mine) broke recently when it was announced that Johnny Depp would finally wed long time love, Vanessa Paradis. My boyfriend, I mean Johnny Depp, and Paradis, a French singer, have two children together and while every once in a while rumors run rampant about a Depp-Paradis wedding, this time the media is confirming it, which makes it true, right?

Anyway, HollywoodRag reports that the two are finally ready to take the big walk down the aisle and the event will take place in April 2009. And even though the upcoming nuptials have yet to be officially announced, details about the ceremony are starting to surface. 

The ceremony will be held on the couple French Estate with 50 of their closest friends in attendance.  Tim Burton, long time friend and collaborator of Depp, will be the best man. Keith Richards, who played Depp’s father in the last installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, will be an official guest of honor, although I’m not quite sure what that will entail.

The infamously private duo will mostly likely do their best to keep the wedding from the eyes of the paparazzi.  And, unlike most of Hollywood, they’ll mean it.
