So, Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn have decided once again not to get divorced. 

According to his rep, Sean filed a formal request with the Marin County Superior Court yesterday to dismiss their legal separation case.

Sean tells the New York Daily News the decision to file for legal seperation “..was an arrogant mistake.”

Since both Sean and Robin are such great actors, it would be a sin if they became best known as the couple who cried divorce.

While Pink and ex Carey Hart have gotten back together, and the singer has hinted that the two may tie the knot again, the week end wedding that happened at her place was for a close friend.  Celebuzz.com reports that Pink was even nice enough to send out a notice to neighbors that there may be some noise during the wedding.

 Maybe all the wedding hype at her house will result in a Pink wedding soon?

At the Love, Peace and Marriage Equality rally in New York yesterday, Sex and the City’s Cynthia Nixon announced that she and partner Christine Marinoni were engaged last month. 

Nixon and Marinoni started dating in 2003 after Nixon split from her husband. 

Actress Anna Faris is not planning on having a big Hollywood wedding when she weds fiancé Chris Pratt later this summer.   Faris tells US magazine that they two will most likely elope.

“We made the best decision that I could ever think of — we are just going to slip off and elope.  We aren’t going to involve the family at all. Then we will go on a honeymoon.”

You gotta love a strong, equal opportunity kind of woman like Jennifer Hudson.  When boyfriend David Otunga proposed to the singer on her birthday, she was thrilled and now she has returned in kind.

On Otunga’s birthday, Jennifer surprised him with an engagement ring of his own.  Jennifer worked with Neil Lane on the 5 carat ring, which Jennifer designed herself.

“Jennifer wanted to give him something really special when she asked David to marry her,” said Lane. “It was very sentimental and romantic … They are really in love.” 

When Seal and Heidi Klum renewed their wedding vows in Malibu, the two went old school.  Seal wore a mullet circa 1992, looking very much like Billy Ray Cyrus, while Heidi opted for a Bo Derrick look with her hair done in corn rolls.  To make things even tackier, the ceremony was overseen by an Elvis impersonator.

Continuing the casual fun theme, the 75 guests wore jeans and leather and were treated to Mexican beer and food after the ceremony.  Everybody had a blast dancing and partying to 60s rock.

With all of the high end celebrity weddings that take place, it’s nice to see an off the wall wedding. 

Nicole Brewer is over the moon to be shopping for her wedding dress.  And why shouldn’t she be?  The former Biggest Loser contestant went from a size 24 to a size 8 with her over 100 pound weight loss.

Usmagazine.com is helping the bride-to-be pick out her wedding dress.

Nicole is excited about the different styles that she can try on, some that she never felt were options available to her at her heavier weight.

“The difference now is that I can really get into a very fitted silhouette — one that’s even a mermaid style — and that’s something I never could do at a size 24. Now I know I can fit in something sexy, form-fitting and modern and feel fabulous! This is the celebration time. This is the reward. This is what all the hard work has been for.”

Brewer will be walking down the aisle in August. 

Popeater has received exclusive photos from In Touch Weekly of Salma Hayek’s honeymoon. Salma and hubby, Francois-Henri Pinault spent some time honeymooning in Seychelles.

A witness said, “It’s one of the most beautiful islands in the world. But they mostly spent the afternoon inside their bungalow. Salma was hugging Francois and constantly kissing him. They were so into each other. They seem so in love. They were laughing and smiling the entire time.”   

Jessica Simpson insists that filming every move of her life shortly after saying “I do” didn’t break up her marriage to Nick Lachey.  In fact, according to a recent interview with the wannabe popstar/actress/country singer she has only the best memories of filming MTV’s Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.

She tells Vanity Fair “In all honesty, I believe it did not affect our marriage because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish. It made me understand what marriage is, what love is, what commitment is.”

And apparently, commitment is making as much money off of your marriage and then bailing at the first sign of trouble, eh Jess?

Actress Maggie Gyllenhall and fiancé Peter Sarsgaard were married yesterday in Brindisi, Italy. The couple, who have been dating since 2002 and have a daughter together, Ramona, kept the wedding small and intimate.  They are also keeping the details of the ceremony to themselves, although it has been reported that Maggie’s brother Jake was there with girlfriend Reese Witherspoon.
