In a beautiful ceremony centered around nature and family, actress Alyssa Milano married fiancé David Bugliari on Saturday. A rep for Milano spoke exclusively with PEOPLE, confirming that the wedding took place at Bulgliari’s family estate in New Jersey.

Milano told PEOPLE that “We wanted a wedding that was reflective of who we are as a couple.”

That included the bride walking down the aisle to John Lennon’s Imagine and touches of nature everywhere from the wrought iron gazebo decked out with roses, calla lilies and willow, to the hay bales that served as tables for cocktails after the ceremony.

The strong themes of family and nature were carried throughout the reception, where the meal was served in an outdoor tent with farmhouse tables.

“My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week,” Milano told PEOPLE. “We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing.”
