Cobie Smulders, who plays Robin Scherbatsky (and Canadian pop sensation Robin Sparkles) on the hit show How I Met Your Mother has told People Magazine that she is indeed engaged to boyfriend and fellow actor Taran Killam. When asked about a ring she was wearing she confirmed that it was an engagement ring.

Killam popped the question over the holidays and Smulders is keeping the details to herself, saying only “it was very romantic, I’ll tell you that much.”

The couple are expecting their first child in the spring and in response to questions about the wedding Cobie said “We’re focused on the baby right now and when we actually have a second, then we’ll start thinking about that.”
