Last Thursday David Letterman surprised, well, basically the world when he wed long time girlfriend Regina Lasko. The couple was wed in Choteau, Mont. at the local court house.  Workers at the courthouse were shocked to see Letterman walk in, according to People.com.

The couple was quietly married by Justice of the Peace Pete Howard in front of their five year old son, Harry and friends Genevieve and Lee Barhaugh, who stood for the couple.

I find it interesting that after so many years living together, the two decided to get married.  What do you think?  Should they have gotten married or just left things the way they were?
