Seems that former Spice Girls Geri Halliwell has decided that marrying a complete stranger may not be such a good idea. Halliwell hastily got engaged to Fabrizio Politi in December after knowing him for only a few weeks. She has recently come to her senses and decided not to marry him.

Apparently she called the engagement off when she woke up one day and realize that she really “wasn’t the marrying type”. Yeah, right. Isn’t that the same as saying, “it isn’t you, it’s me”?

Either way, I don’t think anyone is overly surprised, or broken up about the split. Besides, if we just wait a few months she’ll be engaged to someone else. After all, how else can she stay in the limelight?

Italian yacht tycoon Fabrizio Politi has popped the question to former Spice girl Geri Halliwell and of course she said yes! The two have only been dating for a month, but Geri knows big money, I mean big love, when she sees it.

Geri has told a close friend, who was ever so nice enough to pass the information on, that Geri is “over the moon. We are so happy. He constantly makes me smile. I could not be happier.” Geri also wants to have more kids and a source says that Politi has bonded with her 2 year old daughter already and “Geri is desperate for another brother or sister for her daughter, and to have a man in her life who can be a father to them. It feels right and they are both very happy.”

Ah, so she isn’t after his money, she’s after his sperm.
