Jennifer Love Hewitt is clearing up those wedding rumors that were sparked last month when she was spotted out jewelry shopping with boyfriend Jamie Kennedy. Jennifer says the rumors freaked Kennedy out.

“A rumour has come out that Jamie and I supposedly got engaged. The poor guy was on fire. He was like, ‘No, no, no. That’s not true!’ I was like, ‘God, would that be the worst thing in the world?!’” 

But the rumor did get the two talking and Jennifer has set an engagement deadline.

“By this time next year, if we’re not planning something, then there’s a situation.”

Nothing says true love like an ultimatum. 

Ghost Whisperer co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy have just started dating, but it’s rumored that the two are on the verge of getting engaged.  The couple was recently spotted shopping for an engagement ring.

A source told the Chicago Sun Times that the two bought each other “love bracelets” from Cartier and “they’ve also been shopping for an engagement ring for Jennifer.” 

Unable to keep silent any longer, Jamie Kennedy confirmed the rumors that he is dating Ghost Whisperer co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt. Hewitt split from her fiancé in December and since February there have been rumors that the co-stars were romantically involved.

Kennedy told Ryan Seacrest Friday that “I’m in love and I don’t care,” going on to gush about Hewitt saying “I thought it was something I would find in my 40s. It’s like, ‘Wow, you are hot. You can sing, you can dance, you’re, like, so smart and, wow, you can cook pasta fagioli too.’ “

I’m sorry, but that’s kinda cute.
